High BAC refers to a certain blood alcohol concentration (BAC) level at which increased penalties will be applied. In Pennsylvania, the BAC level of 0.08% or more will result in a DUI charge, but if a BAC level is 0.16% or more, the driver can be charged for high BAC and this can result in higher jail time, fines and other penalties.
